HOW TO CLEAN JEWELLERY:
I would like to discuss this important topic, as we all want our customers to keep their jewellery possessions in the utmost pristine condition.
Diamonds and diamond jewellery - I would recommend to buy professional liquid which will remove dirt from your items (one such brand is called Town Talk). If you don’t have it, pour lukewarm water into the bowl and add a bit of washing up liquid and put your items there to soak. And then use an old toothbrush very carefully to remove the dirt and build ups on your items. Rinse the jewellery in clean water. Dry with a towel.
I would recommend to bring your jewellery to your jeweller every 6-12 months for a check (the claw setting, for example, would need to be checked from time to time) and professional clean. My company does the professional clean and check for free, with qualifying purchases.
Pearls - after each time that you wear them, wash them with lukewarm water and dry with a towel. Do not use any abrasive material on them. Do not scrub them.
Opals/opal jewellery - in need of and to be cleaned with care; do not rub the opal/s with a toothbrush, as this stone is very soft. Also, when you store opal/s, please keep a small glass with water nearby, to avoid “crazing” in the opal/s.
