Buying from Public Suppliers

Occasionally, we purchase stock from public suppliers. To ensure the legitimacy of the stock, we follow these procedures: If we buy for scrap, we require the supplier’s ID and proof of address; a driving license is not sufficient and should be accompanied by a utility bill, for example, issued within the last 30 days. We pay immediately for scrap unless we are offered brand items. When offered brand items, once our offer is accepted, we send the items for verification (which takes 2 to 4 weeks) at our expense. Upon successful verification, we initiate the payment process, which may take up to 2 weeks. If we involve another jewellery business to purchase from us, we remit payment to the public supplier within 4 weeks from the date the items are verified. If the public customer wishes to withdraw after accepting the offer, they must pay a withdrawal fee to cover shipping, insurance, verification, and processing fees.
