Non-trade suppliers policy
Non-trade suppliers adhere to the following policy:
- We perform full KYC to verify the supplier.
- If there are no limits on sale time, it may take 6-12 months to sell; unsellable items will be returned to the supplier. If the items are not presold as yet, the non-trade supplier can withdraw them anytime.
- Once we identify the appropriate buyer within the global jewellery trade and the supplier agrees to the price in writing, we transfer the items, asking the non- trade supplier to invoice us and fix the price, after which we invoice the buyer.
- Trade buyers have up to 90 days to pay; international transactions may take up to 100 days. If the buyer is a large international store, we might receive the payment within 180 days.
- Upon receiving funds, payment to the non-trade supplier takes up to two weeks, within our processing time.
- If purchasing for scrap value, we pay immediately after KYC.
- We are committed to ensuring purchases and brokerage of only legitimate goods. Therefore, we take time to do our checks and document every transaction meticulously.
- If the non-trade supplier refuses our policy and requests the items back after agreeing the sale and the sold price, we will initiate the cancelation of the sale, charging a £600 cancellation fee plus £250 per item for verification plus 10% of the sale amount (our fees) with VAT charged additionally on top of the fees, subject to availability of the items at the point of cancellation. Fees must be paid to us within 2 weeks of our invoice. Once we receive the cancellation fees, we initiate withdrawal of the items, subject to their availability, after 8 weeks. And after 8 weeks, the items will be returned to the supplier. If some of the items were sold before the cancellation, we will pay the trade price of that item to the non-trade supplier.
